What are the two types of insurance?

Third-Party

This policy offers you the legal minimum level of car insurance cover, and is the most basic you’re able to get. This kind of policy helps protect other people, vehicles and property in the event of an accident that was deemed to be your fault. What isn’t covered, is damage to your own car or any injuries you suffer.

Comprehensive

Comprehensive car insurance is one of the higher levels of protection you can get for your motor. You can claim from your insurer for accidents that are deemed to be your fault. It also applies when fault can’t be proven, eg if you return to your car after shopping to find that someone has hit you and driven off.
